Hi. It's Damian Phung. Welcome to my blog. Sharing my random thoughts.

I never thought I'd end up as a software developer. Growing up, I was the kid who loved taking things apart just to see how they worked. My parents weren't thrilled when I dismantled our old radio, but that curiosity never left me.

My journey into coding started by accident. During college, I took a basic programming course as an elective, thinking it would be an easy A. Instead, I found myself staying up late, totally absorbed in solving coding problems. There was something magical about creating something from nothing but logic and creativity.

Now, five years into my career, that same excitement hits me every time I start a new project. Sure, there are frustrating days when bugs seem unsolvable, and sometimes I question if I'm good enough. But then there are moments when everything clicks – when a complex problem unravels before my eyes, or when I help a junior developer understand a difficult concept.

This path has taught me that the best careers aren't always the ones we plan for, but the ones that keep us curious and hungry to learn more.

I'm excited to share more of my journey and experiences through this blog. Here's to the bugs we'll fix and the features we'll build!

I have odd cosmic thoughts every day

For me, the most fascinating interface is Twitter. I have odd cosmic thoughts every day and I realized I could hold them to myself or share them with people who might be interested.

Venus has a runaway greenhouse effect. I kind of want to know what happened there because we're twirling knobs here on Earth without knowing the consequences of it. Mars once had running water. It's bone dry today. Something bad happened there as well.
